Two mobiles seized from jail inmates

Authorities of the central jail confiscated two mobile phones from jail inmates here on Tuesday.

They were identified as Sukhbir Singh alias Titu of Burj village in Tarn Taran and Tarsem Singh of Bankan village in Bhikhiwind. They were returning jail after a court hearing.

A case under Sections 42, 52-A of the IPC has been registered against them following the statement of Gurjant Singh, Assistant Superintendent, central jail. He stated that during checking by jail guards the police found two mobile phones with SIM cards from their possession.
