Stubble burning accused booked

The Sarhali police on Tuesday booked a resident of Khabbe Rajputan village for “misbehaving” with members of a team that keeps an eye on stubble burning. He has been identified as Malook Singh. The team, led by BDPO Amandeep Sharma, went to collect the report of paddy stubble burning at Naushehra Pannuan. The BDPO alleged that his team came across burning stubble in the fields of farmer Nishan Singh. Accused Malook Singh allegedly misbehaved with them. He has been booked under Sections 353, 186 and 188 of the IPC. — OC
